Neurosurgeon Haidari, Dimogeronts George uses the ExcelsiusGPS (Globus) robotic system in Spinal Surgery. He is one of the first Spine Surgeons in Europe and the only certified Neurosurgeon in Greece.
Biography
George Dimogeronts is a neurosurgeon specializing in Classical as well as Modern (minimally invasive) spine surgery as well as Functional neurosurgery. He is an honors graduate of the School of Medicine of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens from which he graduated in 1998. He specialized in neurosurgery for six years (2002-2008) at the Neurosurgery Clinic of Asklepiio Voula where he continued to serve for three years (2009-2012) as Neurosurgery Supervisor, further specializing in spine surgery, functional neurosurgery, neurosurgical oncology and the management of CNS trauma. He served as Supervisor of Neurosurgery at the Neurosurgery Clinic of Asklepiio Voula for three years, where he further specialized in Spinal Surgery, Functional Neurosurgery, Neurosurgical Oncology and the treatment of Central Nervous System trauma as well as Supervisor of Neurosurgery at the Department of Minimally Invasive Surgery Egef alu and Spine of the Metropolitan Hospital, for four years. Served as Director Neurosurgeon – Spine & Head of the Neurosurgery Clinic of the Metropolitan Hospital, offering his services to both adults and children. Today he serves as a Partner of the Athens Medical Group in Psychiko. He has presented 158 papers at Greek and international conferences and has published 25 articles in Greek and international journals.
