The purpose of this method is to calculate the risk for Down syndrome.

⚕️ Second Level Ultrasound

We thoroughly check all organs of the fetus (skull, brain, face, heart, chest, spine, abdomen, stomach, kidneys, bladder and limbs) for congenital anomalies.

Measurements:

• The amount of amniotic fluid
• The position and condition of the placenta
• The mobility of the fetus
• Rechecking key anatomical structures (heart, brain, kidneys)
• The measurement of blood flow from the mother to the placenta (uterine arteries), from the placenta to the fetus (umbilical artery) and within the fetus itself (middle cerebral artery, ductus venosus).

⚕️ Cervical Check

Διακολπική μέτρηση του μήκους του τραχήλου, με σκοπό την ανίχνευση των κυήσεων που διατρέχουν κίνδυνο για πρόωρο τοκετό.Transvaginal measurement of the length of the cervix, with the aim of detecting pregnancies at risk of premature birth.

⚕️ Trophoblast biopsy

Invasive procedure for the risk of Down syndrome or another chromosomal abnormality.
