Ophthalmological Clinic . Dr. Nikolaos Vryonis is an Ophthalmologist surgeon who specialized in Pediatric Ophthalmology, Strabismus and Neuro-Ophthalmology in Great Britain.
-Specialized in Ophthalmology at the Attikon University Hospital in Athens in the period 2007-2011 and obtained the title of Doctor of Medicine from the University of Athens.
-In 2012 he obtained the European Diploma in Ophthalmology (FEBO) at the exams of the European Board of Ophthalmology in Paris (European Board of Ophthalmology).
-Then in 2012 he went to the UK at Bristol University Hospital where he specialized in the cataract and emergency department. -From 2013 to 2015 he specialized in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus at the University Hospital of St. Thomas of London under the supervision of Professor C. Hammond.
-He continued his specialization in Pediatric Ophthalmology, Strabismus and Neuro-Ophthalmology at the University Hospital of St. James in Leeds from 2015 to 2016 under the supervision of curator Ian Simmons.
-He then worked from 2016 to 2020 as a specialist Pediatric Ophthalmologist (Substantive Consultant) at the internationally recognized Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool.
-Subsequently from 2020 until now he works as a locum consultant at the Royal Leicester Hospital with the scientific subject of Pediatric Ophthalmology, Adult Strabismus and Neuro-Ophthalmology.
